Please note that our web server does not automatically recognize or collect personal information based on your e-mail address; the personal information we collect is always voluntarily submitted by you.

Fostering/adoption information you have voluntarily provided is collected via an online form and manually stored in our Shelter Manager software. Such information is necessary in order for the Adoption Coordinator to evaluate whether you are a suitable candidate for fostering and/or adoption but also to contact you regarding fostering/adoption. Whether you foster or adopt, our Adoption Coordinator may be in touch with you regularly, to follow up on the animal’s well-being in your care. If reasonable concerns exist that the animal is not taken well-care off, the Adoption Coordinator serves the right to visit your physical address unannounced and, if deemed necessary, remove the animal(s) from your care. For the safety of our rescues, such information can not be requested for deletion if you are an active foster or if you have adopted an animal. If you wish for such data to be deleted, you are required to officially exit our foster/adoption program and return any animal(s) currently in your care. To do so, please email [email protected]

We may also monitor and track information, such as visitor usage patterns using standard website tracking software, such as Google Analytics.  When you are on the website and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with ARC/AReV alone, unless stated otherwise.
